Why Digital Accessibility is a Must
For (semi-)governmental institutions, it has been mandatory for years to make websites accessible. And also, companies, healthcare, and welfare organizations understand the importance of Digital Accessibility: with an accessible website or app, you help visitors, patients, and prospects even better and truly reach everyone.
Audit of Digital Accessibility
With an independent Audit by one of our Accessibility Experts, you'll gain insight into the accessibility of your digital environment within four weeks. We assist you with:
- Assessment against accessibility requirements levels A and AA
- Research on 15 web pages to be determined
- Report with advice per accessibility requirement
- Advice for follow-up process
- The basis for an accessibility statement
What is the Digital Accessibility Audit?
The Digital Accessibility Audit identifies which accessibility requirements require attention. Based on the findings, we collectively decide which actions are necessary. In collaboration with GX, an action plan is developed to embed these actions throughout the entire digital environment. The Digital Accessibility Audit is the starting point. With this targeted action plan, your organization is able to take the right steps towards an accessible and comprehensible website or app. In many cases, the findings serve as input for the Accessibility Statement drafted by the organization itself or for obtaining a certification.
Together, We Strive for Digital Inclusion
Successfully embracing Digital Inclusion is a continuous process within your organization, requiring awareness, the right steps, and commitment. We guide you through every step that needs to be taken.

EAA Guidelines
The European Accessibility Act (EAA) is an international law that removes digital barriers for people with disabilities. This law is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
The Audit focuses on Level A and Level AA of the WCAG 2.2 guidelines. Level AAA is complex and falls outside the scope of the European Commission. If interested, this requirement can be included in the audit.
Findings Report
The Digital Accessibility Audit and the follow-up process prepare an organization for an inspection by an official certification body. GX is not an official certifier. With the audit and any subsequent steps, we ensure that your digital channels meet accessibility requirements and can be presented with a high chance of success to the certifier.
An accessibility statement is a suitable means to demonstrate how your organization is engaged in Digital Inclusion, on which accessibility requirements improvements can still be made, and what action is being taken. The findings from the Audit form the basis of this document in many cases.
